Areas of Use
TuffSkin is developed to protect calcium-based stones such as marble, limestone, and travertine, but it also
works excellently on other surfaces. The most common areas of use are:

Installation Process and Quality Standard
To ensure a first-class result, our installation
process follows a strict standard.
Preparations and Environment
The surface to be protected is meticulously cleaned in several steps. The installation takes place in as clean and dust-free an environment as possible. Despite this, occasional microscopic dust particles may become trapped under the film, which is normal and does not affect the protection’s function.
Existing Damage and Surface Irregularities in the Stone
TuffSkin protects the stone but is not a product for repairing existing damage. It usually conceals minor, superficial etching but not deeper chips, cracks, or discolorations. Any repairs to the stone should be carried out by a stone specialist before installing TuffSkin.
Joints and Edges
For maximum durability and to prevent edges from peeling, TuffSkin is applied only to the flat surface and is cut with high precision just before a joint or a polished edge.
After Installation
Small air or water bubbles may sometimes remain under the film immediately after installation. This is normal and they disappear on their own shortly as the surface cures.
